Oh what?! Another huge update in 1 month...

That's my pops if he dyed his beard orange, and wore a turban...

Crappy batman sketch

Here is a little goat...

Well, hopefully people keep tabs on my blog, if not, well I update for myself.

Here is more for archival purposes. These sketches were done at York again with my boy, if you manage to spot the times on the images, most are 5 minute sketches. Problem is, since it is life drawing for animators, they mainly do gestures and quick 1 minute to 10 minute (tops) poses, it becomes a real hassle to pick up much details and get a whole figure in properly, so I focus on body parts.

I've lagged until August to do this?

Nooot the best summer I've had but that's alright. I have one piece I am currently working on that will bring me back to level. Though I should have been working on a weekly piece. I can't blame myself for that, so naturally I blame someone else.

This isn't the piece. This was just from a life drawing cession I did at York with my boy Lou.
I'm going to continue working a bit more on it and I will be finally transferred to a wall-piece.

These next two pieces are remakes from old canvases remade with spray paint and recolored tiles. They aren't really meant to be amazing pieces, just a project with reuse of extra parts lying around the house as well a page from the neo-plasticism (De Stijl) era of the 19th century dutch artists and architects.

I will upload a couple more drawings from the life drawing class, and some outlined work from the piece I've been working on this week.

Out of several pieces, one of them was was selected by American Illustrator magazine to be selected on the permanent website archive along with Ahmed Kassem. Much thanks to everyone for the support on that.

Thought I would update this again. This are some random drawings I did during the span of my youth. I once had a very cartoony style.

Oh this one piece was done originally as a 6 x 6 piece for a gallery show I was a part of.

It was sold for 75 dollars and I have no idea who bought it.

This isn't the original but a digital rendition. Should have photographed it before I sold it.

Whoa! Its February?! I thought we were only in February!!

No me importa, aqui en Canada te damos con un bate.

That's how I sound, like a displaced time traveller from the year-thousand-and-who-cares.
It's been a while since I've even updated this piece. I doubt anyone knows this place even exists. haha That's ok, it might get discovered one day. Regardless, I've been putting some pieces up from wayback-playback days. I'm not quite as productive with random doodles and drawings like alot of the students in my school are. Kind of scary how they just draw and doodle and add random paints, and they make such cool pieces of art. I'm more linear, I kind of have to think of it work on it, and somehow make it proper in my eyes. The idea of random and sloppiness upsets the inner me. And the outer me as well.
I would say I'm going to start updating every week or something, but I would only be lying. Its true, so I'll just update whenever this blog is in need of attention.
